This is how Antipress maternity briefs are made
Discover its production process, which is divided into four phases: seamless manufacturing, dyeing, sewing and packaging.
1. Seamless manufacturing
One of the properties that make Antipress maternity briefs unique is that they are made with seamless machines, which have a technology that allows garments to be produced without seams. The main advantage of this manufacturing method for the final consumer is that the garment does not have uncomfortable points in contact with the skin.
The production process takes place in Mataró, next to Barcelona. With our own machines, we obtain top-quality briefs from the polyamide and elastomer threads. The production plant has solar panels, with which we use sunlight as an energy source.
2. Dyeing
We have a local supplier with more than 30 years of professional experience that is in charge of dyeing and finishing operations.
The process carried out on Antipress maternity briefs is garment dyeing, which allows much smaller batches to be dyed to avoid overfilling the warehouse. As a consequence, we have the ability to react to improve the garment in future versions. Currently, pregnancy briefs are dyed in black, white and sand.
3. Sewing process
We ourselves take care of the sewing process, which consists of two very simple operations.
First, the cotton tissue of the intimate area is sewn to avoid any type of vaginal infection and to give the pregnant woman maximum comfort.
Finally, the strip is added on the legs so that the fit in the groin is perfect. This is a process that requires manual intervention and in which we try to imbue the garment that the expectant mother will wear with affection.
4. Packaging
The last phase the briefs go through before reaching the warehouse is the packaging. Previously, however, exhaustive quality control is carried out to rule out garments with defects due to problems in the manufacture of the fabric.
The maternity briefs are presented in packs of two units in cardboard boxes. Inside, they are protected by thin paper and accompanied by a brochure with a detailed explanation of their characteristics.
